A: The Conference is open to the public and targets National Urban League leadership, affiliates, partners, volunteer groups and friends. The Conference also draws nationally recognized scholars, civic leaders and celebrities.

Q: What is the purpose of the Conference?
A: The Annual Conference offers attendees a path to empowerment as they learn from top experts in the fields of education, employment, health and finance. It is also a great networking event, with hundreds of companies and corporate sponsors looking to connect with savvy entrepreneurs and sharp business minds.

Q: Where can I find printed Conference materials?
A: Materials will be posted on the Conference website www.nul.org/conference2013 as they become available.

Q: Where can I register for the Conference?
A: You can register by phone at (800) 263-9926, by fax (916) 782-5570, online at www.nul.org and in person on-site.

Q: Can I register for the Annual Conference by phone?

Q: What are the registration prices?
A: Prices vary depending on your relationship with the National Urban League. To review prices, visit our registration page.

Q: What methods of payment can I use for to register?
A: We accept Checks, Money Orders, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and
Discover Card

Q: Do I have to pay the registration fee if I want to attend the YP Summit events only?
A: Yes

Q: Do I need a photo ID?
A: Yes, a photo ID is required to pick up registration materials on-site.

Q: Do I have to register for the Conference before booking a hotel room?
A: No, you can book your hotel online at www.nul.org/conference2013  or by phone (866) 825-9502.

Q: When can I book a hotel room?
A: Reservations must be made by June 25, 2013 to take advantage of the special hotel Conference rates.

Q: How will I be notified of my hotel accommodations?
A: You will receive a hotel confirmation via email.

Q: How do I get the special NUL rates at hotels in the Philadelphia area?
A: By reserving your room online or via our toll-free number (866) 825-9502.
 
Q: How do I cancel my registration?
A: Your registration can only be canceled by email, fax or letter. Cancellation for a full refund must be received no later than June 14, 2013. After June 14th, refunds are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. No cancellation refund will be given after July 15, 2013.

Q: Can I get a discount on my airfare to the Annual Conference?

Q: What is “I Am Empowered?” Is this separate from the National Urban League?
A: I Am Empowered is a campaign that harnesses the power of social media to empower the nation. It is not the National Urban League. Learn more at www.iamempowered.com
